The following comments are from one of the surveyors. “I have never seen a facility since JC began using engineers to assist with survey with as clean of an EOC survey as Laurel Ridge. There were no findings from him and you have a clean slate from me. I congratulate you.”
Laurel Oaks Hospital
Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center has recently undertaken a number of initiatives with the goal of reducing the number of restraints that have to be used in care delivery. They have instituted staff training programs, therapeutic care programming changes and a number of changes to the environment of care that have made their facility more comfortable and safe for their patients. These changes have allowed them to reduce the number of total restraints by 72% since earlier this year.
Columbus Behavioral Center for Children and Adolescents
Columbus Behavioral Center for Children and Adolescents was surveyed by the Indiana Department of Children's Services and had zero deficiencies.
Brooke Glen Hospital
Brooke Glen Hospital recently completed a survey from the Philadelphia Department of Public Welfare with zero deficiencies. It was also selected by Aetna Behavioral Health to be their Best Tier 1 Provider.

Alliance Health Center began using an automated medication dispensing and tracking system and they have been able to greatly reduce their medication error rate.

Hillcrest Behavioral Healthcare recently underwent a physical plant inspection by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. The inspection covered 45 areas and the facility had zero deficiencies.
Behavioral Education Solutions
Behavioral Education Solutions was recently awarded a five year contract from the Brevard County School Board of Florida to provide education and counseling services to the district's most challenged Exceptional Education Students.
