Hickory Trail is a 76-bed facility committed to providing safe and effective quality mental health and chemical dependency services for children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. We also have a 10 bed adult RTC unit as well outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults.

Job Description

The Psychiatrist is a key member of the leadership and clinical team. As such, the Psychiatrist is expected to establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Medical Director and CEO, working actively and creatively to achieve an optimum balance of clinical and fiscal success. The Psychiatrist shall participate in regular leadership and clinical meetings with the Medical Director and CEO along with other key management staff. The Psychiatrist shall be available and helpful in the solution of emergent administrative problems involving clinical considerations. Comprehensive treatment of adults and geriatrics from admission through discharge including, but not limited to, treatment team participation, psychotherapy, family therapy, management of medication, and post seclusion/restraint evaluations. This is an income guaranteed opportunity with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited medical school, Board Certified/Board Eligible, plus two years documented experience in the treatment of adult patients.
