Red Rock Behavioral Health Hospital is an acute short-term hospital designed
to diagnose and treat the complex mental health and substance abuse problems
of people ages 50 and over. In our program, each patient has a treatment team
of medical and clinical professionals who work together to pinpoint the nature
of the problem and help the patients and their families begin the recovery process.

Please call us at (702) 364-1111 for a free and confidential assessment if you or someone you know is experiencing any of the emotional problems listed above. Our initial assessment is a free community service performed
by a mental health professional to assist in determining the need for treatment. We offer initial assessments to anyone, regardless of where you ultimately decide to receive treatment and regardless of insurance coverage.
In Person:
Face-to-face assessments with one of our qualified mental health professionals may be necessary. We will review your concerns and discuss the best treatment options for you. Our compassionate assessment specialists will determine what level of care you need based on your past and current symptoms and explore treatment options according to your specific needs. The assessment takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Diagnosis
A comprehensive evaluation of your physical, mental and emotional condition forms the basis for our diagnosis and treatment planning.
Inpatient Program
- Comprehensive psychiatric, medical psychological and nursing evaluation
- Individualized treatment plan
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Coping and Life Skills training
- Activity Therapy Groups
- Therapeutic Exercise/Stress Reduction
- Medication Management/Education
- Individualized Continuing Care Plan for discharged patients and their families
In group and individual sessions, the program focuses on the stressful issues associated with aging, such as grief, loneliness, coping with illness or physical disability, changing roles and status, death and dying and conflicts with adult children.
We place great value on family involvement in the treatment process. Participation in community support groups is also encouraged.
