Admissions
Admissions Criteria
The treatment program at Liberty Point has the following admission criteria:
- Applicant is a male child 13-17 years of age
- Applicant has a primary psychiatric disorder requiring a specialized approach to treatment
- Applicant has impaired ability to maintain or sustain adequate functioning in major life areas, i.e. school, social, family and/or work
- Applicant has received treatment in an acute setting and current, disabling symptoms could not be managed, or have not been manageable, in a less intensive treatment program
- Applicant is medically stable
- Applicant demonstrates an escalating pattern of self-injurious or assaultive behaviors
- Applicant requires 24-hour observation and treatment
